About
Cloudine Lang
.
Owner, Trainer, and Instructor Cloudine Lang has over 20 years of
professional animal handling experience, performing in public, competing,
teaching groups and individuals, working with some students on an on-going
basis for years, and more. Her approach is tried and true, and she
understands how to work within each dog and handler's specific needs. One
of Cloudine's unique qualities is that she excels in working with dogs that are
hard to motivate (i.e. dogs that are NOT easy to train). Some trainers lack
these type of skills because they've only experience with
performance-oriented breeds. These are hard-earned skills and she's ready
to teach them to you!

Cloudine loves teaching to the level of comprehension, equipping people to
create their own training programs, and creating dogs that are enthusiastic
and eager to participate.

The atmosphere of the classroom is one of equals coming together for a
meeting of the minds on how to best train behaviors. Since In Joy teaches
you to be a dog trainer, you are expected to then apply your knowledge and
make training decisions based on your logic. Everybody counts, and we all
share the training adventure together. In a group class, students become
familiar with the nuances of classmates' dogs, too, and the community often
contributes more than Cloudine alone could. It really becomes quite a rich
experience. And, since the dogs have this regular outing, they learn how to
behave within a public group. Through a focus of how to do things, rather
than how to get a dog to "stop doing things", we actually address some of
those nuisance behaviors that need work to. However, there's only a little bit
of that, cuz that's simple. We'll correct things along the way, but are focus is
fun, come and have some!
