Welcome! So glad you stopped in for a visit!
(Agility handlers can click here to go directly to "the goods”)

Are you looking for something to do with your dog? Have you thought, “My dog needs training”?
Perhaps you attended some classes, but the “obedience” you learned doesn’t really work in real
life. If so, you're not alone, nor are you without a solution.

InJoyDogTraining’s goal is to teach you how to train your dog, and to support you as you apply
what you’ve learned. We’re not about handing out theories of what should work; we want to
help you set your dog up for success.

At InJoyDogTraining our focus is mostly on agility, but don’t be misled; these are not just classes
for those who want to do agility. In order to train something as complex as agility, handlers must
first become savvy trainers. Thus, the beginning agility series is excellent for those who want to:

Get better responses to commands
Learn how to train your dog to come when called
Learn to shape behaviors (tricks) using a clicker
Lay a good foundation, allowing for quicker progress in the more advanced stages
Learn how your dog thinks
Understand why things sometimes don’t work & how to fix it
Improve your timing
Apply training principles effectively
Learn how to use Positive Training methods without becoming a doormat
Design training sessions to work for you and your dog’s individual needs

Mastering the art of positive dog training is virtually impossible without outside assistance. Our
Beginning Agility Classes build the many skills that make up the solid groundwork most owners
would like to have. These beginning sessions try to comprehensively cover dog training
fundamentals. They’re great for more advanced students wishing to better your comprehension,
make use of an ideal training environment, and gain experience applying what you know.

InJoyDogTraining offers agility from start through to
competition level. We also welcome anyone
wishing to “retrain”, as many end up needing to do.

But for those who are just hunting for a good time where your dog does most of the work, InJoy
is proud to present
Sniff It Out. It’s almost unbelievable how fulfilling it is for dogs to do nose-
work. Not only does a dog expend a lot of energy concentrating (which usually helps them settle
peacefully in the house), these games can be played by the whole family. This class should open
a doorway to a new way of playing with your dog that can last a lifetime.
